The Mount Greylock Regional Mounties will take on the Brattleboro Bears in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 93-20, which was the final score in Mount Greylock Regional's tilt against Pioneer Valley Regional on Friday.

Brattleboro kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 71-36 loss at the hands of St. Johnsbury Academy. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-18.

Mount Greylock Regional will need focus on slowing down Dillon Jenks, one of several Brattleboro players who made an impact when they last played. He posted four points and six rebounds. Those six rebounds gave Jenks a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Dascomb, who put up four points.
