Sturgis Brown faced Sioux Falls Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Scoopers blew past the Chargers 4-1. Considering Sturgis Brown have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Sturgis Brown's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-3.
