Softball Recap: Pacheco Comes Up Short

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Ceres Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Pacheco saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Chavez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Emma Landeros also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ceres, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Pacheco and Ceres will both be playing Grace Davis the next time they take the field. Ceres will head out to face Grace Davis at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Pacheco will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
