Baseball Recap: St. Patrick Takes a Loss

St. Patrick managed to slip by Presbyterian Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fighting Irish lost 7-0 to the Bobcats on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Fighting Irish's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Patrick now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Presbyterian Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

While St. Patrick had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
