Basketball Recap: Crookston Comes Up Short

Crookston was the 65-57 winner over Fertile-Beltrami when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates had to suffer through a 65-38 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crookston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Fertile-Beltrami, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Crookston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-50 loss against Park Rapids on the 12th. As for Fertile-Beltrami, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-26 win against Win-E-Mac on the 13th.
