Basketball Recap: Westbrook-Walnut Grove Comes Up Short

After flying high against Adrian/Ellsworth last Friday, Westbrook-Walnut Grove came back down to earth. The contest between the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers and the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots didn't end well, with the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers falling 58-39. The matchup marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Westbrook-Walnut Grove's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Coming up, Westbrook-Walnut Grove will head out on the road to square off against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Southwest Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m.
