There's no place like home for Juan Diego Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cottonwood Colts on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Soaring Eagle haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Juan Diego Catholic walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-21.

Ila Jacobs paced Juan Diego Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. Jacobs got some help from Elizabeth Chesley and her nine assists. Chesley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Juan Diego Catholic's win bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Cottonwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
