Bowdon won the last time they faced Trion and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Devils snuck past the Bulldogs with a 60-54 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Despite the loss, Trion saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ayla Sanford posted 24 points and six boards. Sanford's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Dallas Payne was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Bowdon's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Trion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Bowdon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-20 defeat against Bremen on the 24th. As for Trion, they will face off against Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
