Baseball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

Hoover lost against Twinsburg back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Twinsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover will head out to challenge North Royalton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twinsburg, they will venture away from home to face off against Avon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
