Soccer Recap: Spanish Fork vs. Maple Mountain
Spanish Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Dons it sure didn't stay that way.
Spanish Fork's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Maple Mountain, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanish Fork will head out to take on Salem Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salem Hills' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Maple Mountain, they will head out on the road to square off against Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maple Mountain is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
