Morgan had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They never let the Belpre Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Given Morgan's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Belpre are ranked 453rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braylon Miller was the driving force of Morgan's attack as he scored both of Morgan's goals, bringing his season total up to 17 goals.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Belpre, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on River View at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan's defense better be ready for this one: River View have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Belpre, they will face off against Monroe Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Belpre will be up against Monroe Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.7 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
