Gavin Nuckolls was a major factor in Northwest Whitfield's victory over LaFayette on Friday. Nuckolls wasn't messing around, throwing for 304 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 61 yards and one score on only five carries. The contest was his third straight with three or more passing touchdowns.

Nuckolls and Northwest Whitfield will welcome Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bruins had to take a loss when they last met the Yellow Jackets, but Nuckolls had little to do with the loss: he threw for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 65 yards.
