Baseball Recap: Harrison Gets the Win

Harrison was forced to take a big defeat against Coronado on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 11-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Aidan Mills was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Harrison is undefeated when Mills posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Archuleta, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Harrison's record is now 5-6. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Harrison will head out to face off against Evangel Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Coronado, they will host The Classical Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
