Recap: Choctaw County Chargers vs. Nettleton Tigers
After losing to the Nettleton Tigers the last time they met, the Choctaw County Chargers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Choctaw County made off with a 52-51 victory over Nettleton. The win made it back-to-back wins for Choctaw County.
Caleb Cunningham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Garrick Alston, who scored 14 points.
Choctaw County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Nettleton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
Choctaw County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-58 win vs. East Webster on the 9th. Nettleton has also already played their next game, a 57-56 win against Mooreville on the 9th.
