Baseball Recap: Brashear Takes a Loss

Brashear fell victim to Atlanta and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 last Monday.

Brashear has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Atlanta, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4.

Brashear does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atlanta, they will host Green City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 2.4, the Gophers 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
