Soccer Recap: Newport Comes Up Short

Newport lost against Sunapee back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers lost 5-0 to the Lakers.

Newport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sunapee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-2 record this season.

Newport has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Raymond on the 19th. As for Sunapee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Portsmouth Christian Academy on the 19th.
