Johnson Creek waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Mineral Point Pointers.

Johnson Creek's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Mineral Point, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

Coming up, Johnson Creek will head out to challenge Parkview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mineral Point, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-7 victory against Algoma on the 26th.
