Volleyball Recap: Sandhills/Thedford's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sandhills/Thedford came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Valentine by a score of 2-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Valentine, too.

Sandhills/Thedford didn't let Valentine take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.

Whitley Rasmussen paced Sandhills/Thedford's offense, picking up seven kills. Rasmussen got some help from Grace Johnston and her 11 assists. Laney Dahlberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sandhills/Thedford's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Valentine, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandhills/Thedford will challenge Arthur County on Tuesday. The Wolves will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last. As for Valentine, they will be playing at home against North Central on Tuesday.
