Basketball Recap: Tahanto Regional Takes a Loss

Tahanto Regional lost against Narragansett Regional back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tahanto Regional Stags took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Narragansett Regional Warriors.

Narragansett Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brielle Haddocks, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Haddocks is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Cote, who posted 15 points and four blocks.

Tahanto Regional now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Narragansett Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Tahanto Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Ayer Shirley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Narragansett Regional, they are taking a road trip to take on Montachusett RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
