Softball Recap: Long Beach Comes Up Short

Long Beach's last matchup with West Harrison could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Bearcats lost 13-0 to the Hurricanes. The Bearcats have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Long Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Harrison, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Long Beach is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Harrison Central at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Harrison, they will be playing at home against Northeast Jones at 3:40 p.m. on Monday.
