Volleyball Game Preview: Calipatria Hornets vs. Vincent Memorial Scots

Calipatria has gone a perfect 10-0 against Vincent Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will host the Scots at 6:00 p.m. Calipatria will be strutting in after a win while Vincent Memorial will be coming in after a defeat.

Calipatria faced off against Palo Verde Valley in a bug-themed battle on Thursday. The Hornets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Yellow Jackets. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Vincent Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Calexico, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-12.

The victory got Calipatria back to even at 12-12. As for Vincent Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Calipatria was able to grind out a solid win over Vincent Memorial when the teams last played last Tuesday, winning 3-1. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Scots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
