Volleyball Game Preview: Loveland Red Wolves vs. Prairie View Thunderhawks

The Loveland Red Wolves will square off against the Prairie View Thunderhawks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loveland comes in on five and Prairie View on six.

On Tuesday, Loveland earned a 3-1 win over Rocky Mountain.

Loveland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Prairie View got the win against Riverdale Ridge on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Prairie View won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 26-24.

Loveland's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Prairie View, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything went Loveland's way against Prairie View in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as Loveland made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Thunderhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
