Somerset Academy entered their tilt with American Heritage on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Patriots. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: American Heritage scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 14-25, 25-21.

Somerset Academy's offense was headlined by Simon Morales and Joshua George, who picked up eight kills apiece. George really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 14. Morales was also solid from the service line: he led the team with nine aces.

Somerset Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for American Heritage, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Somerset Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Coral Springs Charter on the 7th. As for American Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Immaculata-La Salle on the 3rd.
