Basketball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West lost against Africentric Early College back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Cowboys had to suffer through a 78-30 loss at the hands of the Africentric Early College Nubians. The matchup marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Africentric Early College, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will take on Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Africentric Early College, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodward at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
