Basketball Game Preview: Chisholm Bluestreaks vs. South Ridge Panthers

The Chisholm Bluestreaks and the South Ridge Panthers will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Chisholm took a blow against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, falling 87-48. While losing is never fun, the Bluestreaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Wolves are ranked 116th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Ridge challenged Cromwell on Friday. South Ridge took a 69-50 bruising from Cromwell. The Panthers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

South Ridge now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Chisholm, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything came up roses for Chisholm against South Ridge in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured an 86-47 win. Does Chisholm have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
