Basketball Recap: Kameron Einink's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Clymer Central over Sherman

Clymer Central was the 40-31 winner over Sherman when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Clymer Central Pirates took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sherman Wildcats. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kameron Einink, who posted 13 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Roman Wassink, who went 7 for 8 en route to 14 points.

Einink wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Clymer Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Clymer Central now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Sherman, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Panama the next time they take the court. Clymer Central will host Panama at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Sherman will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
