Basketball Game Preview: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Cherry Creek Bruins

The Arapahoe Warriors will head out to take on the Cherry Creek Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Arapahoe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Rock Canyon. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cherry Creek had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They secured a 54-48 W over the Mustangs.

Cherry Creek has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Arapahoe, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Arapahoe lost to Cherry Creek on the road by a decisive 44-28 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Arapahoe avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
