Volleyball Game Preview: Corbin Redhounds vs. Madison Southern Eagles

The Corbin Redhounds will square off against the Madison Southern Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Corbin took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Rockcastle County with a sharp 3-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Madison Southern had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Golden Lions 3-0.

Corbin's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Madison Southern, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.

Corbin was able to grind out a solid win over Madison Southern in their previous meeting back in September of 2017, winning 2-0. Will the Redhounds repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
