Basketball Recap: Central Christian Academy Falls Short of Eminence in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Christian Academy can now relate to. They took a hard 44-26 fall against the Eminence Eels on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Eels: they've now lost six in a row.

Eminence was led to victory by Khloee Kirk and Sophia Saucerman. Kirk posted 16 points, while Saucerman had 15 points. Kirk is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last five games she's played.

Central Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Eminence, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Central Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eminence, they will square off against Greenwood Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eminence is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.4 points per game this season.
