Baseball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake fell victim to Gallia Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Chesapeake's record now sits at 3-16. As for Gallia Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will face off against Portsmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gallia Academy, they will challenge Fairland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
