Baseball Recap: West Salem Wins Going Away Against Arcadia

West Salem lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Arcadia, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Raiders on Thursday. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.

Ethan Lehman looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Terryn Boland, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Max Diegmann was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

West Salem's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Arcadia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
