Football Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Takes Down Victory Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Nazarene Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-14 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Patriots. The Lions' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Cristian Adams produced another solid effort rushing for 232 yards and four scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has become a key player for Nazarene Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Bigham, who rushed for 73 yards and two TDs on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nazarene Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 305 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Although Victory Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Nick Cunningham and Jaylen Donald.
