Baseball Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Surry Central was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell 7-2 to the Providence Grove Patriots. The loss was the Golden Eagles' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Surry Central fell to 4-1. As for Providence Grove, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

As for Providence Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Southwestern Randolph on the 11th.
