Softball Recap: Southeastern Panthers vs. South Point Pointers
Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell just short of the South Point Pointers by a score of 5-3. Southeastern was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Point apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.
For South Point's part, Maddy Evans spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, South Point let Alli Stidham and Adyson Copley loose on the outfield. Stidham went 2-for-3 with two runs and a triple, while Copley scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
