Softball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. South Rebels

Kenston hasn't had much luck against South recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bombers will welcome the Rebels at 5:00 p.m. Kenston is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Kenston took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Wickliffe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bombers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Blue Devils on Saturday.

Meanwhile, South unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 11-8 to North.

Kenston's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for South, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1.
