Watchung Hills Regional put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the North Hunterdon Lions get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. That looming 9-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

North Hunterdon's batters probably weren't too happy with Riley Bobrowski, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 19 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Bobrowski has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mia Simon, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelly Shikar, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.

Simon wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Watchung Hills Regional lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Watchung Hills Regional pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for North Hunterdon, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.

Watchung Hills Regional will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair will be back at it again later today.
