It was a good run, but St. Paul unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 25-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Montgomery Knights. The Swordsmen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bishop Montgomery, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, St. Paul will head out to face off against Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Swordsmen surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Montgomery, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Saint Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
