MacArthur is 9-1 against Westfield since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Generals will square off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for MacArthur and 12 for Westfield.

MacArthur had taken Spring down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Generals lost 15-7 to the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Generals have suffered since March 6th.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Westfield's offense. They came up short against Aldine on Friday, falling 7-0.

Westfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kori Lafanette, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Westfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for MacArthur, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 11-9.

MacArthur took their win against Westfield when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 22-5 score. Do the Generals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
