Volleyball Recap: Fisher's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Fisher unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bunnies of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19.

Bella Kelsey paced Fisher's offense, picking up four kills. Kelsey got some help from Brooklynn Kellems and her nine assists. Kellems was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Fisher's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Fisher will square off against DeLand-Weldon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
