Baseball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Ashton-Franklin Center and Fulton squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Ashton-Franklin Center had to settle for second. They fell 4-0 to the Steamers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Ashton-Franklin Center saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Lester, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Lester has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Ashton-Franklin Center and nudges their season record down to 17-13. As for Fulton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13.
