Softball Recap: Canyon View Falcons vs. Richfield Wildcats

Canyon View can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They never let the Richfield Wildcats onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Canyon View.

Elli John made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. John has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. John was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with an RBI.

In other batting news, Canyon View let Savanna Hutchings and Alina Sluder loose on the outfield. Hutchings scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Sluder scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Burt, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
