Football Game Preview: Stark Generals vs. ConVal Cougars

The Stark Generals will head out to challenge the ConVal Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Stark has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while ConVal will arrive with three straight victories.

On Friday, Stark took a blow against Manchester West, falling 44-6.

Meanwhile, ConVal had just enough and edged out Milford 21-18 on Friday.

The win got ConVal back to even at 4-4. As for Stark, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Stark against ConVal when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 34-6 victory. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
