Softball Recap: Edina Comes Up Short

Edina and Jefferson squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Edina had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Edina's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Jefferson, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1.

Edina wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Champlin Park on the 3rd. As for Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-3 victory against Farmington on the 3rd.
