Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Lutheran Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Lutheran lost against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Saints fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Levine paced Indianapolis Lutheran's offense, picking up 17 kills. Levine got some help from Shaefer Scearce and her 31 assists. Lillian Pass controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Indianapolis Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Indianapolis Lutheran will face off against Morristown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Greenwood on the 13th.
