The Carl Junction Bulldogs will square off against the Nevada Tigers at TBD on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Carl Junction extended their postseason success on Friday against Harrisonville. They walked away with a 17-7 win over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back wins for Carl Junction.
Meanwhile, Nevada can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Grandview 43-0 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Nevada just coasted through the last quarter.
Jack Cheaney was on fire: he rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 47 receiving yards. Cheaney really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run. Kellen Braden was another key contributor, rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Carl Junction's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Nevada, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
