Volleyball Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson lost against Stow-Munroe Falls back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Explorers lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

Hudson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Stow-Munroe Falls work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-23, 25-10.

Gianna Tripp paced Hudson's offense, picking up seven kills. Tripp got some help from Evelyn Kenney and her 11 assists. Lani Slater and Maribeth Slater kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Hudson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Twinsburg on the 2nd. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Solon on the 2nd.
