Soccer Recap: Carroll Falls to Western in First Game of Season

Carroll unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Panthers on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Carroll couldn't quite close it out.

Western now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Coincidentally, Carroll and Western will both be playing Tipton the next time they take the pitch. The Cougars will host the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
