Chateaugay is 10-0 against St. Lawrence Central since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Chateaugay Bulldogs will take on the St. Lawrence Central Larries at 7:00 p.m. Chateaugay will be strutting in after a victory while St. Lawrence Central will be coming in after a loss.

Chateaugay is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Tupper Lake to the tune of 75-34 last Saturday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 599th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Lawrence Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against Saranac Lake on Tuesday, falling 75-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Larries have suffered since January 31, 2024.

Chateaugay's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for St. Lawrence Central, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.

Chateaugay was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Lawrence Central in their previous meeting back in January, winning 57-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chateaugay since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
