Baseball Recap: Dedham Find Success

Dedham won the last time they faced Norton and things went their way on Monday too. The Marauders won by a run and slipped past the Lancers 3-2. That's two games straight that the Marauders have won by just one run.

Jack Haven spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Dedham has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Norton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dedham is set to challenge their familiar foe Millis at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norton will face off against rival Norwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
