Mercer Island's win came from a few key players Lake Washington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elianna Weiss, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 21 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anna Mock, who posted nine points and three steals.

Mercer Island's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Lake Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
